Carrier Supra Units On 12t DAFs

HARLECH Foodservice has taken delivery of four new rigid trucks, each mounted with a Carrier Transicold Supra 850 MT (multi-temperature) Silent unit.
The 12 tonne DAF rigids, each featuring specialist multi-compartment bodies from Solomon Commercials, join a 32 strong mixed commercial vehicle fleet that is 90% Carrier cooled.
“We specified our first Supra around 12 years ago, and that’s roughly the length of time we expect our trucks to stay in operation,” said Jonathan Foskett, joint chairman of Harlech Foodservice which transports a wide range of chilled and frozen products across Wales and north west England, including significant amounts of ice cream during summer.
“Over the years we’ve specified both multi-temp Supra 750 and 850 units, matching the different power outputs to specific applications in our fleet.”
