IN JUST 18 years of trading, Muir of Ord based Stoddart Crane Hire has delivered impressive growth, operating over a vast swathe of Scotland and the UK. Starting out with just a 70-tonne Grove TM870 mobile crane in 2004, owner David Stoddart has carefully built his business by delivering outstanding customer service levels.
Nowadays the company employs a staff team of 20 that operate 13 mobile cranes, four heavy haulage trucks and a small fleet of self-escort vans from a sizeable base that includes an office and workshop.
The Tomich Industrial Estate property also offers clients external storage and on-site testing facilities.
