Take To High Road To RTX Scotland 2025

An exciting, brand-new business tradeshow, RTX Scotland, will be making its mark on the road transport sector in 2025.

Taking place from 19-20 November at Glasgow’s SEC, the debut event will be brought to you by the organisers of the popular Road Transport Expo, which takes place in Warwickshire every summer.

It will capture the ‘all about the truck’ ethos of the original show, but with a unique spin to make the show highly focused to Scottish hauliers and HGV fleet operators.

A vast 5,000 sq m exhibition hall will bring you a host of well-known brands with manufacturers including Brigade Electronics, Hankook Tyre UK, Isuzu Truck, Iveco, Palfinger, Volvo Trucks and many more. In fact, the exhibition already has xx% of stands fully booked, so it’s gearing up to be a bumper first year!

Visitors can expect to see everything from trucks, bodybuilders and trailers to telematics systems, parts, and ancillary services.

Alongside the tradeshow stands will be running an informative Knowledge Zone stage, which will feature leading Scottish operators and influential figures discussing the topical issues that matter to you, such as decarbonisation, fleet compliance and road safety.

Visitors can drop into the relevant conference sessions and interact with presenters and lively panels to ask their own key questions via the easy-to-use Slido system.

And like its sister event in England, RTX Scotland will make sure that visitors can combine essential business networking, fantastic stand hospitality from exhibitors and a chance to connect with fellow industry peers in a relaxed, friendly environment.

The show dates have been chosen to coincide with the 31st annual Transport News Scottish Rewards, attracting nearly 600 prominent visitors to Glasgow and creating a landmark week for the Scottish transport industry.

Kevin Swallow, editor at Transport News, said: “I am delighted to be bringing the winning RTX formula to Scotland this year and looking forward to meeting hauliers at this fantastic new event.”

Hayley Tayler, head of content at RTX Scotland, added: ““As this is the first year for our Scottish-themed RTX, we welcome your input to make sure the show is the best fit for your needs and the Knowledge Zone is covering the issues that matter most to you, so do please get in touch if you have any ideas or suggestions for the show.”

RTX Scotland is completely free to attend for visitors and a diary-must for HGV operators and related business this November.  Head over transportnews.co.uk/rtxscotland2025 for more information and to register your interest in attending.
