To celebrate International Women’s Day, the transport manager at J&M Murdoch & Son Mandy McAdam organised a Women in Transport Day at its site in Neilston.
With various speakers from every sector of road transport, it was both a celebration and a call for more women to join an ever-growing industry.
And Fi Hamilton, Transport News Northern Rewards transport manager of the year, discussed her journey from leaving school to joining the army and heading into the cold-chain logistics sector.
