Thorncliffe Building Supplies has taken delivery of three new vehicles supplied by DAF dealer, North West Trucks. The three truck order included two DAF LF 18t skip loaders and one DAF CF 32t hook loader all fitted with Boughton bodies which will be used across the business offering waste management and skip hire services. Tim Harper, director at Thorncliffe Building Supplies, explained why Thorncliffe continue to purchase DAF trucks: “We run a mixed fleet of 80 trucks, the DAF product has the most driver appeal. Our drivers are very impressed with the AS-Tronic gearbox and the level of driver comfort.” Tim continued: “As a British company we believe it’s important to buy British and British made products. We specified our DAFs with Boughton equipment thanks to their long-standing heritage in the UK.
