Bullet Express Cuts Carbon Footprint

FOR OVER 30 years Bullet Express has been distributing, storing and shipping goods, while constantly identifying new ways to operate more responsibly, recently evidenced in the choice of new materials handling equipment to service its four Glasgow sites. The company has invested in a fleet of Mitsubishi EDiA EX electric counterbalance trucks, low-emission GRENDiA ES LPG trucks, and Aisle Master forklifts, all from the local Mitsubishi forklift trucks distributor.
“We wanted to minimise our carbon footprint whilst maximising our cost-efficiency. The package proposed by our Mitsubishi supplier achieved all that,” explained Bullet Express managing director, John McKail.
One truck on each of the three sites has a capacity of 2.5 tonnes while the other, fitted with double pallet handlers, offers a 3 tonne capacity.
