Scottish Traffic Commissioner Claire Gilmore Resigns

Claire Gilmore, Scotland’s traffic commissioner for the past five years, has announced she is to resign in May to pursue new challenges.

It has also been announced that a new deputy TC Kenneth Young has been appointed and will be based in Scotland. He is an advocate with a practice encompassing commercial litigation, administrative law, and public inquiries.

Gerallt Evans, the traffic commissioner for the North West, is also vacating his post, as he set to retire after four years in the role. He will continue in the role of deputy traffic commissioner instead.
