One year on from the new Iveco S-Way appearing on UK roads, the tractor units have become popular. A variety of chassis options and drive configurations have come to market over the last 12 months, with the first 8x4 chassis now fitted with an aluminium aggregate tipper body built for JAB Haulage in Coventry by Swadlincote Aluminium & Welding Co. The high specification S-Way is a Cursor 13, 510bhp, ON+ set-up with an active space, low roof, single bunk sleeper cab, enhanced by a premium style pack and the addition of polished aluminium wheels. Robert Spittle, MD at Guest Truck and Van, the company who sold the vehicle to JAB Haulage, said: “The S-Way is selling well because its dramatic good looks are backed up by new technology and solid engineering.”
