THE RHA confirms that HGV drivers returning from Spain DO NOT need to self-isolate if their journey is work-related.
Others returning to the UK from Spain or its islands will have to self-isolate for 14 days after ministers added to the list of at-risk countries as cases spiked in Spain.
Truckers, however, are exempt if their journey is in a freight vehicle, and they’re carrying community authorisation, consignment note, and COVID movement documents.
