Bullet Express invites UKWA chief to open new Renfrew facility

Bullet Express has officially launched a major new warehouse this week with the help of Clare Bottle (centre), chief executive of the UK Warehousing Association (UKWA).

The new facility, which is located at Westway Park in Renfrew, close to Glasgow Airport and the M8, has 67,000sq ft of storage, substantial eaves height and storage space for 12,500 pallets, writes Carol Millett.

Its launch follows rapid growth at Bullet Express, which employs around 150 staff and provides UK and European road freight services, worldwide air freight, sea freight, customs and storage solutions for its customers.

The new facility will see the business increase its storage and distribution capacity by 30% and has already created a number of new jobs with many new team-members employed from the local area.
