M-B Site Traffic Goes Electric

HIGH DEMANDS on the robustness, performance and efficiency, as well as the handling of vehicles that serve the construction industry now see Mercedes-Benz Trucks, meeting them in a CO2 neutral and low-noise manner.
At the recent IAA Show in Hanover, the German truck manufacturer provided extensive insights into its electric vehicle portfolio. On its stand was an eActros LongHaul concept prototype with electric power take-off from Meiller; an eActros 300 with electrified tipper solution from Meiller; and a Prototype Battery Electric Arocs with electric truck mixer from Liebherr-Mischtechnik.
The Munich based tipper manufacturer Meiller, in co-operation with Mercedes-Benz Trucks, has developed an electric power take-off that enables hydraulic working equipment such as tipping semi-trailers or walking floor trailers to be efficiently operated.
