THIS YEAR’S CV Show saw Iveco ‘preview’ its battery electric tractor unit built from the joint venture with Nikola, as well as launching their eDaily, writes Kevin Swallow.
Series production for the Nikola Tre electric tractor unit starts in Q3 of this year, so it was a pre-production 4×2 version on the stand.
Fitted out with three battery packs, it has 738kWh of power and a 330 mile range and can be recharged from 10 to 90% in 100 minutes on a 350kW charger. Transport News will bring you more in the July 2023 issue.
