CUMNOCK was the starting point for the 2023 Ayrshire Commercial Vintage Vehicle Club annual road run, with more than 90 trucks and a few buses gathered at the Barony Campus carpark for a static display under the supervision of Jim Smith QFSM, and his team of volunteers. The fleet then headed east to Abington and south to Thornhill with other vehicles joining on route and finishing at Portpatrick for an overnight stop. Words and images William Sinclair.
