KPMG Report Highlights Poor EV Infrastructure

KPMG has released its Net Zero Readiness Report providing an overview of the situation in 24 countries.

It finds that despite a worldwide tripling of EV sales, the level of growth in the sector varies globally and is constrained by the ability of charging infrastructure to keep pace.

The report also finds that despite incremental momentum and the scaling up of low-carbon energy production from some of the world’s largest emitters, including the US, China, Brazil, Canada and the EU, progress is constrained by a backlash over the cost of decarbonisation and conflict over its domestic impact.
