Show Review: ScotPlant 2024

There was an excellent turnout from the road haulage sector at ScotPlant 2024 with hauliers and dealers reporting plenty of interest and solid leads for services and products.

Malcolm Construction brought its truck with the custom wrap featuring the late rugby legend Doddie Weir and promoting the motor neuron disease charity My Name’5 Doddie.

Gordon Mackenzie, boss of Mackenzie Transport Forth, had its latest bespoke 8×2 Renault C range truck on show, and J&M Murdoch & Son showed off Electric Ted as well as teased a future addition to the fleet.

Among the dealers were Alltruck, AM Phillip, Lothian DAF and MV Commercial, while trailer builders Andover, Faymonville, Goldhofer, King and Nooteboom also exhibited.

The ScotPlant 2024 show report will be in the July 2024 issue.
