DVSA Updates

Driver Qualification Card Validity – DQC’s expiry between 1 February and 31 August extended for seven months.
DQC Expiry in September – DVSA have rescinded their previous guidance resulting in drivers now having to undertake DQC training before expiry after 31 August 2020.
Tachograph Calibrations – Calibration and inspections which expire between 1 March and 31 August 2020 extended by six months from date calibration was originally due. Certificates expiring from 1 September must be renewed as usual.
Operator financial Standing – Maximum grace period extended from six months to 12 months, where inadequate financial standing is made between 1 March and 30 September 2020.
Driver Attestation – Expiry from 1 March to 31 August 2020 extended for six months.
