RIPPONDEN based C&S Transport said the addition of a Volvo FH 460 with a Hiab X-HiPro 1058 E-8 crane supplied by MV Commercial has increased its lifting capabilities and given it an edge on its rivals.
The Volvo rigid, specified with NATO front legs that allow for a full 360 degree slew, is fitted with a high-spec cab, Kelsa bars and stainless steel toolboxes. Capable of lifting 18,000kg at 4m and lifting 3,450kg at a maximum outreach of 19.4m, the Hiab crane has increased the company’s job potential. The E-8 has also been fitted with a winch for improved working at height.
