Truckfest Season Returns

LAST year’s Truckfest North East at Wolsingham in County Durham made a welcome return after a two-year pandemic-hit hiatus, writes Kevin Swallow.
Big crowds arrived on both days to see the latest trucks from DAF, Scania and Volvo, and the best liveried wagons from the north of England and Scotland entered into the various categories of the legendary Truckfest truck competitions.
Last year, it was Ayrshire’s John Templeton (pictured, centre) with his Scania 143 who caught the eye with two trophies, alongside Collins Earthworks and Robert Hymas and his Volvo, which claimed the Best Vintage & Classic Truck.
