THE APPOINTMENT of major truck dealerships as authorised repairers has beefed up Isuzu Truck UK’s presence in Scotland.
In the Highlands, Elgin Truck and Van, with sites at Elgin and Inverness, and in Dundee, Norscot Truck and Van, signed up last year, joining Motus Commercials in Glasgow, Graycoll at Broxburn and Almar Garage in Aberdeen.
Pete Murphy, MD at Isuzu Truck UK for the past seven years, welcomed the appointments. ‘It was important to strengthen our presence around the Highlands and Dundee,’ he explained. ‘We do not have to build a reputation regarding customer care because both Elgin and Norscot are well respected and established service providers, so we can concentrate on building the reputation of the brand.’
