I CONSIDER myself very fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit the Ciney Truck Show in Belgium, described as the Temple of Show Trucks, courtesy of Ian ‘Nipper’ Maclean. This is an invitation only event where only the best trucks in Europe are displayed and where examples from every country could be seen, some of which are inside a large exhibition hall on the red carpet. A large proportion of the entries is made up of Scanias. The attached images show the six Scottish Trucks that attended in June 2003. Ian Lawson reports.
